According to an order, washing vehicles at this time leads to a shortage of drinking water, to deal with which this step has been taken.

Gurugram Municipal Corporation says that if anyone is found violating the rules despite warnings, the water supply connection of the house will be cut off. The Municipal Corporation says that water wastage is increasing due to washing cars in homes. People use more water than required to wash cars, which is increasing the burden on the water supply system.

A fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed
According to the order, a fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed on the vehicle owner if he is found washing his car at home during the supply hours between 5 and 9 pm. Apart from this, the water connection can also be cut and the consumer will have to pay an additional Rs 1,000 to get it restored. The administration hopes that after this order, the wastage of water by vehicle owners in the city will be curbed.
