In the religion of Islam, Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Sahib said that Namaz is like a river, by offering Namaz every sin of your body is washed away. According to him, Namaz is a good way to wash away sins and keep oneself calm. 

Mention of Ganga bath in Hindu scriptures

Let us tell you that there is mention of Ganga bath in Hindu scriptures. . River Ganga is considered the most sacred river in Sanatan Dharma. It is believed that those who bathe in the Ganges are liberated from all sins. Not only this, by taking bath in Ganga a person attains salvation after death. This is the reason why people who believe in Hindu religion give the most importance to bathing in Ganga. There is mention of bathing in Ganga in Hindu texts also. For example, information about washing away sins by bathing in the Ganges is found in texts like Devi Bhagwat Purana, Shiv Purana, Garuda Purana, and Bhavishya Purana. According to these texts, all the sins of a person are washed away just by the touch of Ganga.
