India performed brilliantly in batting and bowling. While Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma took the lead in batting, in bowling, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh and spinner Varun Chakraborty played their roles very well. Sanju scored his second century in the current series, while Tilak Verma laid the foundation of India’s series victory by scoring back to back centuries. While bowling, Arshdeep Singh took a wicket with the new ball, while the magic of mystery spinner Varun’s spin was seen in the middle overs. Varun laid such a web of spin in South Africa in which the star batsmen of the host team got trapped one by one. This is India’s 24th win out of 26 in T20 this year. Team India has played 31 T20s against South Africa, out of which it has defeated South Africa for the 18th time.
