Glenn Maxwell was haunted by the fear of 2 Indians, said – they alone have the ability to turn the match…

New Delhi. Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is afraid of two legends of Team India before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Maxwell feels that Australia’s success depends on how the host team’s batsmen deal with India’s spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

India had registered historic wins on the 2018-19 and 2020-21 tours and now the team is eyeing to win the third consecutive series. In fact, India is the only country in Asia which has defeated Australia on its own soil in a Test series. Maxwell said that often the pair of Ashwin and Jadeja decides the outcome of the game.

After Bangladesh, against which team will Team India play the test series? When will it start, see schedule

Speaking to Star Sports, Maxwell said, “I believe that after playing against bowlers like Ashwin and Jadeja for a long time, it feels like we have faced both of them continuously. And often our performance against them decides the outcome of the match. If we play well against these two (Ashwin and Jadeja) then we will be in a good position. These two players have been bowling most of the time in my career. ,

Maxwell, however, is no longer a part of the Australian Test cricket team and played his last Test in 2017 itself. Let us tell you that Ashwin and Jadeja together have taken 821 wickets in 330 innings, out of which they have taken five wickets 50 times. He is also performing amazingly in the current test series against Bangladesh.
