News agency Reuters, citing the non-profit organization OpenSecrets, claimed that on the one hand Elon Musk is directly supporting Republican candidate Donald Trump in these elections. At the same time, the employees of his company are donating heavily to Kamala Harris of the Democrat Party. OpenSecrets collects lobbying data. Now only Musk knows what is his intention behind this double game.
According to OpenSecrets, Tesla (TSLA.O) employees have contributed $42,824 to Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, while giving $24,840 to Donald Trump’s campaign. It was claimed that employees of Musk’s rocket company SpaceX have contributed $34,526 to Kamala Harris, while Trump was given $7,652. On the same lines, employees of SpaceX donated $13,213 to Harris. Trump received $500 from the social media platform.

Trump was with Biden in the last election
Elon Musk has openly supported Donald Trump’s campaign through a post on Instagram. In such a situation, his employees suddenly donating heavily to Kamala Harris definitely creates confusion among people. Let us tell you that Trump had earlier openly supported Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election. Since then, he has become right-wing and has allegedly distanced himself from the leftist ideology i.e. Kamala Harris’s thinking.
Trump’s big offer to Musk
After Elon Musk’s support, Trump even said that if he wins the November 5 election, he will make Musk the chief of the Government Efficiency Commission. However, it was also claimed that many of Musk’s employees live in California, which is also a stronghold of the Democratic Party. This is why it cannot be denied that these employees are voluntarily supporting Kamala Harris as their favorite candidate in the presidential elections.
