New Delhi. Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon has donated a bat with autographs of Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin. Many cricket fans are surprised by this work of Nathan while most of them are praising him. Nathan Lyon has donated this bat to Cricket Australia’s partner Taverners, which works for social awareness or help. The money received from the auction of this bat will be used to help disabled cricketers.
Australian captain Pat Cummins, star batsman Steve Smith and Nathan Lyon themselves had signed three bats. These signatures were taken during the Border Gavaskar Trophy series which Australia won 3-1. Cricket Australia wrote on its social media handle, ‘Ahead of the 2025 National Cricket Inclusion Championship, Nathan Lyon has donated three special bats to Taverners Australia.’ Nathan Lyon is the brand ambassador of the National Cricket Inclusion Championship.
It said, ‘A sticker has been placed in the middle of each bat in Braille script on which it is written ‘Play for All’. There are autographs of Australian and Indian Test cricketers on it. The money received from their auction will be used to help disabled cricketers.
Nathan Lyon shared pictures of these bats on his ax handle and wrote, ‘Help us raise money for disabled cricket. We have three bats on which autographs were taken during the BGT series. On one side there are autographs of Pat Cummins and Jasprit Bumrah, on the second side there are autographs of Steve Smith and Virat Kohli and on the third side there are autographs of me and Ravichandran Ashwin.
