Caroline Levitt was the White House Assistance Press Secretary during Trump’s first term.
America’s newly elected President Donald Trump is preparing his team for his second term. On Saturday, he selected 27-year-old Caroline Levitt for the post of White House Press Secretary. Caroline will be the youngest secretary to hold this post. Earlier in 1969, President Richard Nixon had appointed 29 year old Ronald Zeigler as Press Secretary.
Caroline was also the National Press Secretary of Trump’s campaign in the recent presidential election. Apart from this, he also held the post of Assistant Press Secretary during Trump’s previous term (2017-21).
Announcing Caroline’s name, Trump said – Caroline Levitt did a very good job in my historic campaign. I am pleased to say that she will serve with me as White House Press Secretary. Caroline has proven to be a smart and effective communicator. I am confident that she will help deliver our message to the American people as we make America great again.
Who is Caroline Levitt?
Caroline Levitt is a resident of New Hampshire, America. She has interned at the White House. Levitt became communications director for Elise Stefanik after Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. Ellis has now been selected by Trump to represent him in the UN.
In 2022, Leavitt ran for the House of Representatives (lower house of the US Parliament) from New Hampshire. However, he lost to Chris Pappas of the Democratic Party in the general elections. After this she became a part of Trump’s presidential election campaign this year. Currently, Carolyn Levitt is the chief spokesperson of President Trump’s transition team.
Caroline Levitt gave birth to a son in July 2024.

The White House Press Secretary keeps the American people informed about the President’s activities. During this, the press secretary has to win the trust of the media by giving necessary information. Besides, one has to maintain loyalty to the President.

After this Sarah Sanders took over the post. Trump also praised his work a lot. Stephanie Grisham became the third press secretary who never held a press briefing at Trump’s behest.
Grissom stepped down on January 6, 2021, following the White House siege by Trump supporters. Now Grisham is anti-Trump. Kelly McEnany was the last White House press secretary during the Trump tenure. Now she works for Fox News.
