Trump answered a question about free trade with India during his election campaign in Michigan.

He is very good at his work. During this, Trump alleged that India misuses trade relations with America.
Actually, the former US President was questioned on free trade with India. To this he said, “India imposes very high taxes on imports. On becoming the President, I will implement ‘Reciprocal Trade Policy’ in America. That is, whatever tax the country imposes on us for imports, we will also charge the same tariff.
If a country charges 250 times, we will also charge the same amount of tax. This will either lead to an agreement with that country and start free trade or the revenue coming to America through imports will increase.” Actually, PM Modi is going to America on a 3-day tour on 21 September. During this time he will participate in the Quad Summit. This meeting is taking place in President Biden’s hometown Delaware.
