This train reaches Patna Junction the next day at 4:40 am. In this way, this train covers a distance of 996 km in less than 12 hours. There is also a provision of food and drink for the passengers.

Patliputra Railway Station is located in Patna itself. Breakfast and dinner are also provided in this train.
Kolkata Rajdhani Express (Train No. 12306): The Kolkata Rajdhani Express train departs from New Delhi Railway Station at 4:50 pm and reaches Patna at 4:20 am. However, this train departs from New Delhi every Friday and reaches Patna on Saturday.
Duronto Express Train (Train No. 12274): The Duronto Express train running between New Delhi Railway Station and Howrah is counted among the luxury trains. This train is in service two days a week on Tuesday and Saturday. The Duronto train departs from New Delhi at 12:40 pm and reaches Patna Junction at 12:55 am after midnight.
