According to various media reports, 3 options are being discussed to conduct CBSE board exams twice a year (CBSE Board Exam Twice a Year). The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is also considering the semester system. In the semester system, exams are held twice a year at an interval of 6-6 months. Let us tell you that in the current education system, CBSE board exams are conducted between February and April.
CBSE Board Exam: In which months can the CBSE Board Exam be held?
There is no update on when the CBSE board exams will be held twice a year. Actually, the Central Board of Secondary Education is still planning about this. Let us tell you that 3 possible options have been discussed. One of these is that the CBSE board exam can be conducted in semester system like college. If this happens, then CBSE 10th, 12th exams can be conducted first in January-February and then for the second time in March-April.

CBSE Exams: What is the problem in conducting exams twice a year?
CBSE is the largest education board in the country. To conduct its examinations twice a year, very strong planning and coordination will be required. Know what challenges will come in conducting CBSE board examinations twice a year-
1- Summer and winter breaks are given keeping in view the weather in India and abroad. Having exams twice a year means that changes will have to be made in that too.
2- It will take at least 55 days to prepare the list of students, issue notification, conduct practicals and written exams, result, verification, re-evaluation etc.
3- You will have to plan to keep a sufficient gap between the two exams. Making a timetable for this will not be easy.
4- CBSE has told the Union Education Ministry that the current system requires more than 150 stages to conduct Class 10 and 12 board exams.
