Brian Lara wants to see Virat Kohli at number 4 in T20 WC | Suggestion for Team India's new Playing XI

Former cricket legend Brian Lara was asked where Virat Kohli should bat, and he clearly stated that Virat should change his batting position, with Sky being sent to bat first. During an interview, Brian Lara said, “I think that Virat Kohli should bat at number four in the World Cup and should be made to bat at number three where he can play as a match winner.”

The performances of Suryakumar Yadav at number three and Virat’s performance at number four in T20s have been very good. Suryakumar Yadav has played 14 matches and has scored 479 runs with an average close to 39, a strike rate of 160, a highest score of 111, four half-centuries, and one century at number four. Whenever Virat Kohli has batted in T20s, he has scored 509 runs in 17 matches with an average above 53. His strike rate is above 135, with a highest score of 77 and three half-centuries. So overall, even if these two batsmen switch positions, both will be beneficial for Team India.
