The horror film “Munja” is earning significantly well. “Chandu Champion” had a slow start, but after Sunday, its earnings also improved considerably. These two films are performing strongly at the box office. Currently, audiences are returning to cinemas. The summer season is ongoing, and during this time, people enjoy going to malls and theaters.
There are many re-releases like “Lakshya,” “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” and “Rockstar,” which are also performing well. “Rockstar” has earned almost Rs. 5 to 6 crores so far. Even after so many years, it originally earned around 70 crores at the box office, so the season is favorable.
Now, the film “Ishq Vishk Rebound” is releasing in June, 24 years after the original “Ishq Vishk.” The producers, Ramesh Taurani and his daughter, decided to release this film. Although they state, “this is not a sequel, there is no part two, there is no franchise title, the main title is ‘Ishq Vishk’ because it is a love story.”
There is no connection to the first story; it is a completely different story made for this generation. Because it is releasing during the summer months, it is expected to attract a significant youth audience.
Summer holidays are ongoing in schools, making this film a prime target for school and college students. The timing is favorable, so the collections in the first two days may be good. However, its earnings may not be extremely high due to the strong performances of “Munja” and “Chandu Champion.”
The first week is crucial for this film because next Friday, a film starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone is releasing, which is expected to be a huge hit. Analysts predict that despite being a South Indian film, “Ishq Vishk Rebound” still has a strong buzz, mainly because of Pashmina Roshan’s debut. She is from the Roshan family, being Hrithik Roshan’s cousin and Rajesh Roshan’s daughter. There is considerable excitement about her debut, as well as the debut of Jibraan Khan, son of actor Firoz Khan, and Rohit Saraf. Naila Grewal is also part of the cast.
If the youth audience goes to see this film, its earnings in the first three days are expected to be good. It may start slow but is expected to pick up on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
