Let us tell you that Sanju Samson had expressed his unavailability to join the practice camp of Kerala team before the start of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. Due to this, he was not selected in the Kerala team for Vijay Hazare Trophy. KCA secretary Vinod S Kumar had said that the association does not want any youth to lose his place due to uncertainty over Samson’s availability.

According to the report of Times of India, top BCCI officials and selectors are not happy with Samson’s decision to stay out of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The board clearly said that the basis of selection in Team India will be domestic cricket. In such a situation, players will definitely have to play domestic cricket.
