After the Diwali season, Asian Paints Limited has registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 694.64 crore in the second quarter (July-September) of the financial year 2024-25. There has been a 42% decline on an annual basis. A year ago the company had made a profit of Rs 1,205.42 crore.

During this period, the company’s sales revenue stood at Rs 8,003 crore after a decline of 5.3%. In the same quarter a year ago, the company had generated a revenue of Rs 8,452 crore. The company has released its second quarter (Q2FY25) results today (Saturday, November 9).

Company will give ₹4.25 dividend per share

Apart from the results, the board of Asian Paints has also approved an interim dividend of Rs 4.25 per share to the shareholders. Companies give some part of the profits to their shareholders, it is called dividend.

Net profit decreased by 40% on quarterly basis

At the same time, there has been a decline of 40.68% in the company’s net profit in July-September on quarterly basis i.e. compared to April-June. The company had a net profit of Rs 1,170 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25.

Asian Paints shares fell 10.17% in one year

Shares of Asian Paints closed at Rs 2,767, down 2.67% from a day earlier on Friday. Asian Paints shares have given a return of 2.10% in the last 6 months.

There has been a decline of 10.17% in one year. Talking about this year only, i.e. from January 1 till now, the share of Asian Paints has fallen by 18.52%. The market cap of the company is Rs 2.65 lakh crore.
