Arvind Kejriwal is in jail, but Sunita won’t miss her husband, she is going to do this big thing

Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: Sunita Kejriwal has maintained a low profile even after more than a decade of the formation of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). But since her husband’s arrest, she has been in the headlines on several occasions, giving a message to Arvind Kejriwal’s supporters.

Haryana assembly elections are to be held this year and Sunita Kejriwal is going to launch the ‘Kejriwal Ki Guarantee’ program on 20 July i.e. today and she will do this by reaching Panchkula. Aam Aadmi Party is trying to make inroads in Haryana where elections are to be held at the end of the year. Sunita Kejriwal was presented as a star campaigner by the party in the Lok Sabha elections.

AAP is ready to contest on 90 seats…

Kejriwal’s bail plea is pending at the time of writing. Hence, Sunita will take the AAP national convenor’s ‘guarantees’ to the people of Haryana. Her focus will be on ‘badlaav’ (change) and she will target not only the BJP but also the Congress. Speaking to the Times of India, Aam Aadmi Party’s Haryana state president and former Rajya Sabha member Sushil Gupta said, “We are ready to contest all 90 seats… going to every booth… we are highlighting the work done by the AAP in Delhi and Punjab.”

Sunita said, this will be Arvind Kejriwal’s guarantee, not Modi’s hollow guarantee

Sunita said that we don’t make promises like BJP and Congress, we give guarantees. This will be Arvind Kejriwal’s guarantee, not (Narendra) Modi’s hollow guarantee. When asked if these guarantees will also include that Haryana will get SYL (Sutlej Yamuna Link Canal) water, Gupta quipped, “Haryana should get water. Every state should get water. Distribution of water is the job of the central government, the Prime Minister. AAP and Congress fought the Lok Sabha elections in alliance in Haryana and Delhi but are not fighting the Haryana assembly elections together.” (Input also from news agency Bhasha)
