Apple export from india reached 41985 crore rupees in first 5 months of fy25

Apple, which makes iPhone, is one of the world’s leading tech companies. Recently, it has launched the iPhone 16 series, whose starting price in India is around Rs 80,000. Indian users seem happy with the pricing of the new iPhones. The credit for this should be given to Apple as well as the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme of the Government of India. The Modi government has started this scheme, the effect of which is now visible. According to a report, within the first five months of FY 2025, Apple iPhone exports from India have increased to $ 5 billion (about Rs 41,985 crore). This is 54 percent more than this time last year.

One Report According to, the reason for this increase in exports is the start of production of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone Max in India. Till now the basic and plus models of iPhone were being assembled in India. Now it is being said that the production of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone Max has also started in the country.

The number of iPhones exported from India in the first five months of FY 2025 was the same as in the entire year of FY 22. This shows that the production of iPhones in the country has increased rapidly in a short time.

The major vendors manufacturing Apple iPhones in India include Foxconn, Pegatron and Wistron. Wistron is now in the hands of Tata Electronics. All the companies are producing iPhones in the country by joining the PLI scheme. The aim of these companies together is to export iPhones worth $ 8.9 billion i.e. about Rs 75 thousand crores this financial year.

According to the report, iPhone sales may increase in the domestic market between November and March. The reason for this is believed to be the festive season. It is being said that Foxconn has just started the production of iPhone Pro and Pro Max models. These are expensive models of iPhone. The export value of iPhones from India may increase further after November.
