The most special thing about Tata Punch is its price which is less than Maruti Swift. The base model of Maruti Swift starts at Rs 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom), while the starting price of Tata Punch is Rs 6.13 lakh, ex-showroom. That is, if you buy the base model of Punch, then it will be Rs 11,000 cheaper than Swift. Despite coming at such a low price, Punch is a car with a 5-star safety rating. Let us tell you that no other SUV coming at such a low price gets a 5-star safety rating.

Tata Punch: Engine and Features
The Punch gets a 1.2 liter petrol engine that generates 88 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. It also has the option of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The company has also recently launched its CNG option which comes with twin cylinder technology. Tata Punch offers a mileage of 20.09kmpl in petrol and 26.99km/kg in CNG.

Talking about the features, the Punch has features like a 7-inch touchscreen display, semi-digital instrument panel, auto air conditioning, automatic headlights, connected car technology and cruise control. In terms of safety, it has many features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear defoggers, rear parking sensors, rear-view camera and ISOFIX anchors.
