Popular actor, producer and director Rakesh Roshan is currently in discussion about his documentary series The Roshans. The Roshans released on Netflix on 17 January. During the promotion of this series, Rakesh Roshan narrated the story when a drunkard started abusing him while dinner in a restaurant. During this time Jeetendra was also with him, who took over the matter.

In an interview to Netflix recently, Rakesh Roshan has said, I remember me and Jeetendra were sitting in a restaurant. A man in front was very intoxicated. He was abusing us by taking our name in front of us. I was very angry why he was speaking to us. So I told Jeetu (Jeetendra) that we should speak it.

In response, Jeetendra said, keep quiet. let’s go out. We do not know him, but he knows us. So we are soft targets. Rakesh Roshan has told that he left from there after Jeetendra explained.

During the conversation, Rakesh Roshan also spoke on acting and talked about making a career in direction. In the 80s, Rakesh Roshan had many films flops. He then started his career as a producer with the 1980 film Aap Ke Deewane. His production’s next film was Dooda, which was a hit. Along with production of the film, he also played the lead role with Jaya Prada.

After this, his production films also started flopping. In such a situation, he started a new innings of his career as a director from Khudarj of 1987.

On this, he said, the actor who was with me at that time had disappeared. But I kept on. He used to roll the villain, did small rolls. This is how I got experience. Then I became a producer, but I did not succeed in that either. The film was very much in the work, but I did not succeed in that either. Jaya Prada went ahead there too, I remained there. Then I thought I would become a director. When I was a producer, we used to discuss the screenplay. At that time my imagination was different.

Rakesh Roshan has directed films like blood-filled demand, Kishan Kanhaiya, Khel, Karan-Arjun, Coal, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Krish 3, after starting the career innings as a director.
