Everyone can play cricket normally, but there are some players who play amazing cricket sitting on a wheelchair, by struggling, these players made themselves so strong that today they are playing for the country. All these players have different life stories, some met with a road accident, some suffered from polio, but these players did not give up and made cricket their passion. Today he plays excellent cricket on the cricket pitch.

Mirdha suffered from polio at the age of 2, now plays for the country
Teams from different states have reached here for the National Wheel Chair Cricket Tournament going on at Chaugan Stadium in Jaipur. Among them is Rajasthan team player Suresh Mirdha, who was diagnosed with polio due to high fever at the age of 2 and lost both his legs. But Suresh did not give up and turned his weakness into his strength. Now he plays in Rajasthan Wheelchair Cricketer. Suresh Mirdha tells that he is a resident of Kharia Mithapur village near Bilara tehsil of Jodhpur district and comes from a farmer family. Listening to the taunts of society and people, he completed his education, and still studies along with sports.

Suresh tells Local 18 that he started playing cricket from 2016. For this he was encouraged by Rajasthan wheelchair cricketer Prithvi Singh. In 2016 itself, there was a trial for cricket for the first time and the selection took place, after which he has played many tournaments for the Rajasthan team and has also played cricket in more than 10 states of India.

Suresh Mirdha has also won medals in shot put and badminton.
Currently, Suresh Mirdha, who is playing cricket for Rajasthan team in the National Wheel Chair Cricket Tournament, has won gold and bronze medal in shot put at the state level in athletic games. Apart from cricket and shot put, Suresh Mirdha has also played badminton at the national level, but now he plays only cricket and wants to improve his game so that he can reach the international level. Suresh Mirdha says that his family supported him since childhood, made him study and also provided him facilities to play cricket. That’s why he has reached this position today.
