Sticky, spongy and…mysterious thing floated out of the sea, people ran away as soon as they saw it, created panic across Canada

New Delhi: Justin Trudeau is currently busy defaming India to save his position. But such a mysterious thing has been seen in his Canada, which has created a stir everywhere. No one knows what that mysterious thing is and where it is coming from after flowing on the shores of the sea. Actually, mysterious white things are flowing on the banks of Kanata. The surprising thing is that no one knows what it is. They range in size from a coin to a dinner plate. This strange thing looks sticky, spongy and inflammable. These strange things have surprised scientists and Canadian officials, who are now investigating the matter.

After all, what is this strange mysterious white thing, let us know it closely. According to the BBC, these things were first seen on the south-eastern coast of Newfoundland, along the banks of Placentia Bay. Local environmentalist Stan Tobin said about these white things that it looked as if someone had tried to make bread and it had become spoiled. Tobin, who lives in a small village in the Gulf, found these things in September. Looking at them they felt like Styrofoam. He said that he found hundreds of these things. In size it was both big and small. The diameter of most of these was about 15 centimeters.

According to The Guardian, the Beachcombers of Newfoundland and Labrador Facebook group first drew everyone’s attention to these strange things. In this group of 40,000 members, there is mainly talk about things related to sea glass. Philip Grace, a member of this group, was the first to post a picture of these things, which he compared to the dough used to make the fried food toutan.

According to the Globe and Mail, Grace asked on Facebook, “Does anyone know what these things are?” These are like toutan dough and are spread over the entire beach. These things were covered with seaweed, sand and pebbles. Sticky on the outside, they were spongy and flammable on the inside. They have been seen at Shoal Cove Beach, Barasway Beach, Gooseberry Cove Beach, Southern Harbor and Arnold’s Cove. According to BBC, gradually more pictures related to these things started appearing online. After this, speculations intensified whether it was fungus, mold, palm oil, paraffin wax or ambergris – which comes from whales and is used in the perfume industry.

According to the Globe and Mail, Roy Chappell wrote, ‘I wonder if this is paraffin wax from a tanker that might have been cleaned.’ Gloria Ross found these things while searching for glass in Southern Harbor. He wrote to the newspaper, ‘It looked like a drop of gum. I scratched it with a stick to see if it would move – it was quite hard but like a sponge.’ Dave McGrath, a resident of Patrick’s Cove, Newfoundland, told The Guardian that he found “hundreds of these things” on the beach. He said, ‘Before they were flipped, they looked exactly like pancakes, with little holes in them. I scraped one or two with a stick and they were spongy and hard inside. I have lived here for 67 years and I have never seen anything like this before, never.

McGrath said, ‘They sent the Coast Guard here and I asked them how bad it was. They told me they have 46 kilometers of coastline that are covered with this thing and they don’t know what it is. Is it poisonous? Is it safe for people to touch it? Officials told the BBC that they have not yet determined what the substance is, but initial tests suggest it is “plant-based.” A spokesperson for Environment and Climate Change Canada told the outlet that further investigation is needed. It said officials have visited the site three times to investigate. Tobin said he called the Coast Guard, but was told it was not Styrofoam. Tobin told the BBC that there must be someone who knows where it came from and how it got here and also knows that it should not be here.
