No milk and bread, Americans are worried about potty, huge crowd in shops and shopping malls, strange reason

In America, a news spread on social media that people ran to buy toilet paper and not milk and bread. After this, queues formed outside shops and shopping malls. Within a few hours the stores became empty. Police had to be called at many places to deal with the situation. But if you are thinking that this is happening because of Iran’s air strike, then you are not right. The reason for this is something else.

According to CNA report, news spread on social media on Tuesday that there is going to be a strike at major ports of the country. Due to this the goods will not be delivered. This news went viral in no time. After this, people started worrying more about potty than milk and bread. They ran to the shops to buy more toilet paper than ration. In panic, so much shopping was done that the stock in the shops ran out. A user wrote on social media, Toilet Paper Hoarding 2.0! Also posted photos of empty stores.

Another user on X wrote, all the stores in Monmouth County NJ have become empty. Paper towels are not available there. People are standing in line and waiting. Some people are also buying water bottles in fear of the strike. However, later the administration clarified this. Told that there will be no impact on the supply of toilet paper due to the strike at the port. Despite this, people are not ready to accept it and want to buy as much toilet paper as possible by any means.

90% of toilet paper is made in America only. The rest mostly comes from Canada and Mexico. But it is supplied not by ship but by train or truck. Therefore it has nothing to do with the strike at the port. There may be an excess of toilet paper due to the strike, but there will be no shortage. Because toilet paper made in America will not be able to go out. But even after this statement people did not stop. During the Covid pandemic in 2020, people ran in a similar manner.
