The 555th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is being celebrated all over the world today. The Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab and Nankana Sahib in Pakistan are decorated with flowers and beautiful lights. Today, the entire day there will be more than 3 lakh devotees in the Golden Temple and 1 lakh devotees.

Beautiful lamps will be decorated in the Golden Temple today. These lights will be decorated from 8.30 am to 12 noon and people can have darshan of them. There will be fireworks in the Golden Temple at night. This time, keeping pollution in mind, Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee is going to burst special types of firecrackers. In which lights will come out and there will be very little smoke. Apart from this, more than 1 lakh ghee lamps will also be lit in the Golden Temple.

Nearly 3 thousand devotees reached Pakistan
This year, passports of 2,244 pilgrims were sent by SGPC for Pakistan visa. But out of them only 763 devotees got visa. Whereas the visas of 1481 pilgrims were rejected. Around 3 thousand devotees from all over India have gone to Pakistan this year to pay obeisance. Who will visit various Gurudwaras of Pakistan including Nankana Sahib. These groups will return by 23 November.
