New Delhi. The schedule of the Test series between India and England has been released. This series will be played between June and August next year. The first match of the 5 Test match series will be played from June 20. The last Test match will start from July 31. Along with the Indian men’s team, the women’s team will also tour England in June-July. The Indian women’s cricket team will play 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches in June-July.
The Indian men’s team came very close to victory in the last tour of England, but in the end the series was tied 2-2. India had taken a 2-1 lead on the England tour in 2021. Then the series had to be stopped midway due to the Corona explosion. Later the only remaining match of the series was played the next year, which England won. In this way the series was tied 2-2.

The final of the World Test Championship will be played just before the India and England Test series. India is leading the race for WTC Final 2025. There is every possibility that India will play the WTC Final. Only after this will the Test series with England start.
The India-England series will start on 20 June. If the fifth Test match lasts for five days, then the series will end on 4 August. This means that in the 46-day long India-England series, players can be seen on the field for 30 days. The first match of the series will be played in Leeds. The second match will be played in Birmingham and the third match will be played at Lord’s. The fourth match of the series will be played in Manchester and the fifth match will be played at the Oval in London from 31 July.

The fourth phase of the ICC World Test Championship will also begin from June 2025. The India-England Test series will be a part of it.
