Yesterday, India beat Pakistan by 6 runs in a very interesting match. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Then, Pakistan’s bowling attack dismissed Virat Kohli early, and after some time, Rohit was also. After the openers were dismissed early, India’s middle order also failed in this match. None of the all-rounders scored significant runs for some time. The only batsman who scored well for India was Rishabh Pant, who also took 3 superb catches in the match as wicketkeeper. The Indian team was all out for 119 runs. After the innings, the score seemed easy for Pakistan. But the pitch conditions were very favorable for bowlers, which led to India’s win.

However, there were some unusual reasons why Pakistan lost this match:-

1- Wrong Approach: The Pakistani players did not wait to let Bumrah’s overs pass and preserve their wickets. Initially, Babar Azam was caught by Bumrah in the slips. Bumrah also dismissed Mohammad Rizwan, who looked dangerous for India.

2- Poor Fielding: As usual, Pakistani players dropped many catches in the match. They dropped three catches of Rishabh Pant alone.

3- Repeating Mistakes: As seen in the first innings (with India all out for 119), despite the pitch offering a lot of assistance to the bowlers, they continued to attack, which resulted in their loss.

4- Team Selection: According to Pakistani media and cricket experts, the team selection for Pakistan was not good at all.
