Washington. US presidential candidate Donald Trump was injured by a bullet while addressing a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The US Secret Service deployed for Donald Trump’s security took him out safely from there. After this, Trump thanked the Secret Service and law enforcement for their immediate response to the shooting incident.
However, soon after the attack on Trump, US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle became a target of people. There is a demand on social media that Kimberly Cheatle should resign from her post.
On ‘X’, a user named DC_Draino wrote, “Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle previously worked at Pepsi. No, I’m not kidding. Check it out.”
Twitter user libsoftiktok said, “The director of the Secret Service is Kimberly Cheatle. She should resign immediately and be investigated.”
User EndWokeness said, “What was Biden’s Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle busy with? Her goal is to have 30% female agents by 2030. No, this is not a joke. This is how it happens.”
“Secret Service Chief Kimberly Cheatle is the worst DEI appointment in the history of the world,” a user named Langmanwins wrote.
Trump was shot in the upper part of his right ear
A member of the US Secret Service shot down the attacker. The Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency and comes under the Ministry of Internal Security. It said that Trump (78) was addressing a rally for the presidential election on Saturday, when at 6:15 pm a suspected attacker fired several shots from a high place outside the rally venue towards the stage, in which a bullet hit Trump in the upper part of his right ear.
One person involved in the rally also died
One person present at the rally was killed in the attack, while two others are seriously injured. When the attack took place, Secret Service personnel took Trump under security cover and went behind the stage. After this, they moved towards the vehicle to take Trump to a safe place, during which blood was seen coming out from the upper part of the former President’s right ear.
