New Delhi. Wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson has been rewarded for his excellent performance in South Africa. Sanju won a lot of applause by scoring two centuries in the 4-match T20 series against South Africa. India won the 4-match series in South Africa by 3-1. Sanju Samson played an important role in Team India’s series victory. He gave a great start to India by coming into the opening. Sanju will captain Kerala in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. This year he scored three centuries in T20. Sanju is the first player in the world to score three T20 centuries in a year.
Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournament 2024 will be organized from 23 November to 15 December. The Indian team is not going to play any limited overs series till January 2025 next year. Sanju Samson is not part of the Test team. In such a situation, he will be seen hitting fours and sixes in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. Sanju is in very good form at the moment. He scored a brilliant century in the first T20 of the South Africa series and then gave a big victory to India by scoring a century in the fourth and last T20.

Sanju’s team has been placed in Group E.
Kerala team, captained by Sanju, has been placed in Group E in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. Goa has been placed in this group along with Mumbai, Maharashtra, Services, Nagaland and Andhra Pradesh. Kerala team will play all its matches at Gymkhana Ground and Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.

Sanju Samson had also scored a century in the home T20 series against Bangladesh before the South Africa series. Sanju is the first Indian to score back to back centuries in T20. Sanju-led Kerala team will start its campaign in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament on November 23 against Services in Hyderabad.
